Another Finish!

I stayed up until 6 A.M. this morning finishing the Log Cabin Heart then washing and drying it.  After that I just HAD to sleep, but I slept under that quilt.  I mean I have to test them for snuggly warmness right?

I'm going finish the disappearing 9-patch that is my next UFO to WIP and when it is done I'll give my daughter in law a choice between this Log Cabin Heart and the Disappearing 9-patch.  I think I know which one she will choose just because of the colors she likes but we'll see.  Once I get a bit more done on the Disappearing 9 I'll post some pictures, it's oly about 24 inches square at the moment.

So here is my 3rd finish for 2012.  I'm a quilt ahead now!

A pic of it outside on a typically cloudy Washington day....

And the back...

It just covers the top of my queen sized bed with about 3 inches of overhang on the sides and foot.  I tried to crop the ugly that is my bedroom out for the most part.  I really need to do something about that room.... maybe this week.

Soon, you will have another black and red quilt to be it's sister!
