Leap Day Giveaway!

It's a blog hop and there are some great things up for grabs!

I had big plans to make something, but then the flu found our household so today, since I started feeling better in the afternoon I went into the sewing space and started rooting around, looking to see if I had something I could finish.. no dice on anything suitable.  But I found some cute things that I think someone might like, so lets see.

First I need to tell you to click this linky so you can go see all the great stuff and enter to win.  :)

Leap Day Giveaway

Now for what I have to give away.

How about some Inkjet Iron On Transfers?  Hubby, daughter and I all use these so we bought some in bulk a year ago.

But that's not all!  I bought some things from a crafter's bazaar a couple of years ago, that I'm never going to use, not because I don't like them, just because I have to many other projects already going!  So there are these 'stamped' muslin quilt blocks.  They are 4.5 inches square and are "heat bonded and water tested, though washing is not recommended".  My idea was to either embroider or quilt around the designs.  There are 12 of each of them.  The 'stamps' are actually a little darker and more colorful than in the picture.

Next is this pattern for a wall hanging quilt.  I loved the way it looked hanging there in the booth at the bazaar and was sure I'd eventually make one.. but I just have to face facts, not gonna happen.

So there you have it.  A little loot.  I'll have to make sure that I don't get the flu the next time there is an event happening in the blogosphere! :)

How to win if you desire this loot is easy...  I'll ship internationally but if it costs a finger and two toes you might have to wait a week for me to get my crafting allowance before I can get it in the mail!

I'll draw by random # at midnight February 29, 2012, Pacific USA time for the winner and post shortly thereafter. :)

You get 2 tries:

1.  Be a follower of my blog.

2.  Leave a second comment telling me what you are doing with your extra day this year!  I'll be trying to catch up on the quilting that I missed the last couple of days while I was on the couch watching "Deadliest Catch" and "Hoarders".  :D

I will be working all day long, and maybe coming home and getting to sew. I haven't done that in a long time now.

For the 2nd guess we are moving work. So I guess I am working for free on our extra day today (salary so no extra pay go figure) and I get to work late to boot so no quilting tonight.

I'm entering most of the Leap day Contests, knitting a mitten, and embroidering my February entry for The Floss Box Flickr group year-long project. Oh, and drinking cocoa! It's still cold here.

I am working on Just Take 2 blocks to catch up. Also, one of the ships on the deadliest catch show was made by my Dad. It use to be called the Marla Jo but they changed it's name.

Today I get to go do some manual labor as the storms that hit us last night messed up my chicken pens. It's not easy to reach up and fix the roofing on them when they are 6 feet tall and I'm only 5 feet tall.

Generous giveaway. As for my "extra leap day" instead of sewing like I planned on doing, I am running chauffer services to the littlest grandchildren and sick again, disabled husband. Oh well, it just another day. Boy I miss my sewing time! Jane
