W.i.P Wednesday

At 11:55 AM I got the call.... "All afternoon patients have cancelled so you don't need to bother to come in today."  What the F.O.C (Front office coordinator) could not see was that as soon as she said that I started Snoopy dancing around the living room!

At around 1 o'clock I got my "chores" done and went out to sew.  I worked and slaved on the "Log Cabin Heart" for about 5 hours, until my neck and shoulder started yelling at me that it was time to cease and desist for the day.

That gave me time to make a really nice dinner for the family.  I decided I'm going to be a vegitarian for February and see how I feel and if I lose any weight. THEY had meatloaf with bacon crisped on the top, rice and veggies.  I had rice, veggie and egg fried rice.

Anyhow, I got the top of the quilt all put together and I have to add more to the back, quilt up the remainder of it and then start on my borders.

My youngest son un-dibbed this quilt after he saw some other fabric I had and decided he wanted something out of it instead so my Daughter-in-law will have dibs on this one and if she doesn't like/want it then we'll see what happens.  So without further ado my work in progress (that I think I might actually have finished after this weekend!)

So this year I have one finished W.i.P which is the pink and blue baby quilt which was the first thing I quilted on the new sewing machine.  I have this which I plan to finish by Monday and then I'll get going on 2 other U.F.O.s that have become W.i.P.s, the Bear and Wolf "Man" quilts.

So I think by end of February (since I won't be working anymore after tomorrow) I should have finished 4 of my U.F.O.s!  How many are left?  Well I tell you they are to numerous to count. :)

I love this soooo much, I want it, if the daughter in law doesn't want it, I totally call Dibs! Great job.

LOL! Hubby saw it tonight before he left for work and he said with a gleam in his eye.. "What're ya going to do with it if LaRae doesn't want it?" I think he likes it too!
