W.I.P. Wednesday

I don't want to brag... okay yes I do, just a little.  Remember my goal for 2012 was to finish every single UFO that I had.  UFOs would each turn into a WIP which would then turn into a finished quilt?  Well 3 of them are now done!  My goal was to finish at least one a month, so that puts me a finish ahead!

I also said I wasn't going to start any 'new' projects.  I did start one and I work on it once in a while in one or two hour spurts.  I also joined a Doll Quilt Swap that will begin in April so that will be a new project every month, but just a little one.

Sometime in the next few days I'm actually going to pull out all of my UFOs and get them photographed and cataloged so I know what I actually have left to work on and finish.  It's true.. I haven't got a clue what is in the three bins that hold my UFOs.. Okay I DO know, and that is why I have been putting off going and digging it all out! :)  So now here is my current WIP.

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

After I finished this super early Tuesday morning (at 6 AM!!) I slept until around 2 o'clock in the afternoon then I went out and pulled out the next UFO from the top of the blue bin.  It was 4 inch strips which turned into these:

Which then became these:

And those turned into these:

I'm sure many of you have guessed by now that those became these:

Which became these:

Which are turning into my next quilt as you go project!  A disappearing 9-patch.  I love how it is turning out.  It's the first one I've made.  Here it is so far:

Happy Wednesday everyone!
