My plan is to finish this Disappearing 9 Patch by the end of the weekend and I decided I'm keeping this one. I have to retire 2 quilts from my stack since they are getting really raggedy. I plan to, of course, upcycle them into something else, or I could always do what Gramma did and use them for batting, just building a new quilt around them, I've not decided yet.
The other thing, before the pictures, I just want to say that quilting gloves have changed my life! I refused to spend $12 for a pair at the quilt shop and went to Walmart and found some $2.99 gardening gloves with rubbery grippy stuff on the palm and fingers that work perfectly. The only problem I was having is I had to stop and start and take them on and off to be able to grab threads and use my wee little scissors. Yesterday I got the bright idea to cut the tips off of the thumbs and pointer fingers. Worked like a charm! Now I can just carry on my quilting without having to remove my gloves a zillion times.
So now, a couple of pictures with my brilliant gloves and the W.I.P. as backdrop! :)
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

That is a super idea! I just might have to try it! Thanks for sharing.
Love it, my walmart gloves are pink and have the thumb and first finger missing from both gloves...LOL
I love the disappearing 9-patch pattern, don't you?! Yours looks great.
