I really need to get some sleep, but I couldn't wait to post about this finish! Actually I put the quilt through the wash and tossed it in the dryer then went and crawled in bed with every intention of sleeping. I heard the dryer buzz though and had to get up and have my night owl son help me take some pictures!
So this quilt is a Kid Quilt. It is about 50 inches by 58 inches and is just about perfect for it's intended purpose. Keeping a 6 year old girl named Nattie cozy and comforted while she is getting various medical treatments. As you will see from the pictures, my son (who needs a hair cut but refuses to let me chop it!) said "This would even work for me!" As a lap quilt maybe! The kid is 6 feet 3 inches!
Anyway, without further ado, the Kitty Kid Quilt! (And then I'm going to get some sleep!)

Yes you were up very late finishing this one. But I so understand how you just wanted to get it done. Nice job.
And that is what I have to look forward to? Kids refusing to get hari cuts? UGH!
I can see why you were anxious to post. It's a wonderful cuddly quilt!
Very pretty!!!
It is beautiful! She is going to love it :)
What a beautiful quilt and I'm like you, I can't wait to get the quilt out of the dryer to see what it really looks like! Too funny about your son, my grandson is the same way!
