A Finish!

I did it!  I finished the Disappearing 9 Patch at around Midnight, washed and dried it and tossed it on my bed at around 1:30 and slept under it!  YaY!

The pictures aren't great due to a breezy day and kids that wanted to get back inside so they could eat and not help mom take pics of her quilt. LOL!  First picture looks like the truest representation of the colors, at least on my screen.

Ended up about 76 inches square.

On my list today:  Swap Adventure block
Work on the Doll quilt swap quilt since I had a great idea and restarted it yesterday.
Work on hubby's Knitting bag that I have planned in my brain.  His yarn is scattered everywhere!

Updated Stash Report  (I'm gonna call it YTD even though I'm actually starting on May 1, 2012.  I'm not going to take the time to count everything in my stash starting out :D )

YTD Fabric In: 0
YTD Fabric Used: 9.5 yards
YTD Thread in: 2 (300 yd) spools
YTD Thread used: 2 (200m) spools 2 (300 yd) spools

I have to order fabric today for bee blocks and daughter is wanting to make a quilt so I'm ordering solids for her. I'm also linking up over here......

Congrats on a beautiful finish! I love the colors in your new quilt and I think it is fantabulous that you were able to nap under it so soon! ;-)

Nice finish. Gotta love the instant snuggle factor so quick after sewing that last stitch.
