So... I was going right along, quilting my little heart out on the Pink Overload when suddenly my neck and left shoulder went into what can only be described as PAIN*SPASM*PAIN*PAIN*SPASM*AGONY!!
Okay, maybe agony is a bit much but you get the idea. So now I need to not sit at the sewing machine for a few days. I guess since I've been going like gangbusters I should have realized that eventually my left shoulder was going to say it had enough and pay me back. I shoulda known better.
On the upside now I can read my book. Here is how far I got before I got dysfunctioned at the junction:
Middle is quilted. First border is quilted. Second and third borders are 3/4 of the way quilted. Had I not had to stop I'd have probably been able to get some of the flying geese border done today. Oh well. Not like I'm under a dead line for this one. :D Lesson learned, take longer breaks from quilting!
I didn't start my stash report until May 1 so I think I'm doing pretty well considering I haven't counted the fabric in the above quilt yet. Can't count it til it's done! :D

Yes, take breaks! Take time every half hour or so for a few stretches and a quick walk around the house to see what housework can be safely ignored until you are done. lol. Hope you recoup soon!
Oops. Pain = no fun. Hopefully you will kick those aches to the curb fast and will be able to get back to your machine quick.
I don't envy you your pain, but it's nice to have time to read your books and not feel guilty. Your quilt is really pretty. Hang in there.
