Yesterday's Other Finish

Last night I finally finished Pink Overload, but I didn't have anyone to help me take pictures until about 30 minutes ago.  Being the only "day" person in a "graveyard" household is tough.  More time that is quiet for sewing though, so I guess I shouldn't complain a whole lot.

So this quilt finished at 71.5"x72.5".  Over 1000 yards of quilting thread!  I think this is the most quilting I've ever done a quilt.  This quilt was just me messing around with pink fat quarters that I had, then adding more and more until it was the size I wanted.  I am going to make at least 2 more of these in different colors.  I'll keep at least one of them for us and then either sell or gift the other one.  I have to many other projects to think about starting them now, but I wrote down the measurements of everything as I made it and it worked so I wouldn't forget!

Don't forget the Giveaway!  2 Travelling Stash boxes!

Next up.... the bow tie quilt that I started over 5 years ago and that is about half done.  It's QAYG so it shouldn't take me long to finish it!

That's an amazing looking quilt. I'm not a pink fan at all, but I like this design a lot. The elements all go together so nicely.

Your quilt looks great, the flying geese really add to it, I think.
