So this lovely SATURDAY I have been up to a couple of things. I am right now working on my border for the Mini Mystery Round Robin group 4 block/quilt top. Earlier today I finished the quilting on the middle portion of the Bow Tie Deux quilt:
Since this one is staying at my house I figured I might try my FMQ feathers on the first inner border and see how I do.
A couple of hours ago I pulled two of these out of the oven:
Lemon Swirl cheese cake! I usually make cherry but I have had lemon swirl and I like it so I figured I'd try and see if I could make it as good. When I bake cheese cakes I always send half of one with hubby for his crew. He always tells me how they raved about it. They work their behinds off for him so I like to send little treats once in a while.
Finally the sun is out and no thunder storms for the first time in about 2 weeks.

I totally lose track of the days during Summer!! Guess I better pay more attention to the calendar...only 2 weeks left before school opens and I return to work :(...Love your quilt!! Do you have a long arm or are you able to FMQ with your sewing machine?
The quilting looks incredible... you are good at handling your machine!! The lemon cheesecake looks yummy...i haven't had cheesecake in a long time...but I do love some lemon pie!!!
