As promised a giveaway! I'm going to celebrate my 100th follower with a Blog Hop Party! Okay, okay the whole blog hop party was someone elses idea, but it sure seemed like a coincidence that it happened now, for my 100th follower.. okay okay so everything is NOT about my blog. Fine! ;)
After you enter my giveaway make sure you click the banner to go visit all of the other blogs giving away goodies. I know I will be.. I mean really.. am I supposed to resist winning more fabric? I think not!
So for my giveaway I've decided to give away fat quarters of my favorite things that I have in my stash right now, no rhyme or reason, no matchy/matchy just the 4 favorite things in my stash at the moment. You might laugh, but a couple of these were really hard to cut into but I figured I got them because I loved them and I don't have a plan so I can part with a FQ of them right?

Leslie Beck for VIP : Good Fortune by Kate Spain : Kyoto by Avlyn : & some Riley Blake
So there you have it! Giveaway will run until September 3rd sometime in the morning. After I've had my coffee I'll do a random # thingy. I will ship to anywhere that the U.S. Postal service will ship to.
How to enter? You can have an entry if you follow me. Warning though, sometimes I post a lot and other times I go a week or two or a month without a post. Mostly this is a quilting blog but once in a while I post about something else.
You can have a second entry if you answer this question:
What did you or would you major in, in College (University)? I took a lot of computer stuff and was heading toward a degree in Computer Science but then I changed my mind. I think now I'd love to go to Le Cordon Bleu. Not necessarily to become a working chef, but just because I adore cooking and would love to be much better at it.
There you have it. Two entries=two comments. If you do not answer the question for your second entry it will not count! Pet Peeve of mine.... not answering the question! ;)
Good luck!

Nice fat quarters. I'd love to win them. Thanks for the opportunity. I'm a long-time follower.

I got a degree in English from the Naval Academy and then got out of the navy and became a high school teacher. I got my MA in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) and taught for several years. I worked a little on a PhD, but then had kids and now stay home full time. If I could do it all over, I would have gone anywhere else in the world to college and become a marine biologist or research scientist.
I'm a follower with bloglovin'.
I took administration assistant in college (although I think it was in the dark ages--I learned shorthand, typing on a typewriter, using all sorts of office communications that are beyond obsolete now.) Thanks for the chance to win.

I am following.
If I went back to college, I can't really say what I wish I'd get a degree in. In some ways I still haven't grown up, there are so many things I'd love to do! And right now none of them stand out more than the other. I think history is fascinating and I am always amazed by the people who know so much about antiques. But being an appraiser sounds kind of boring. :P Some of the other things I wish I could do don't require degrees, like racing cars.
I am ne follower from Italy. hugs
I got a degree on Economics and I bought some extra books on the matter.hugs
I am a new follower.
I went to Gordon College in Wenham, MA. I majored in elementary education but didn't finish. Really wasn't for me. Got married, never did finish. Am thinking about getting into a degree completion program for accounting.
Oh Samantha. I see your friendly face everywhere. I've become a new follower.
I have a bachelor of social work degree and I have worked in social work for almost nineteen years. I knew this is what I wanted to do when I was in my early twenties and started the program, but ended up leaving in the middle of the second year. I got married, had three children and went back to school when I was forty and completed my degree.
I have 2 degrees in Music Education. I also think it would be a ton of fun to go to culinary school.

When I first went to college, I majored in English - specifically journalism. Then I got a job in that field. Years later, my husband went to Bible college and I was able to take a few classes there - would have loved to do more there. Now I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom who also runs a licensed daycare out of her home, so I am studying early childhood education.
Never went to college; got married right out of hs, but I think I would have liked studying genetics.
Hiya from new follower #153. Thank you for the chance to win your great gift.
Sincerely,
Tricia
I'm more of a member of the school of hard knocks but I would ponder on taking some culinary classes although that might be hard as I'm highly allergic to white and black pepper. LOL. But then that I why I use all kinds of kinds of spices to replace them. ;)

Wouldn't mind getting a diploma in fashion design, or dressmaking. If that's impossible, accounting or anything to do with numbers is fine too. Oh, and don't forget languages: Spanish is on my hit list, and maybe more. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have a bachelor's degree in Education so the letters after my name could be B ED. I have been a kindergarten teacher for many years and am looking forward to the opening day of school tomorrow.

I am currently enrolled in the Medical Administrative Assistant Program. I decided to go back to school so I could help people with their medical billing issues. As long as I am there with the seniors we can quilt as well so I can cover both of my loves.
