What I'm Working On Now.....

Hubby asked me to put aside everything I was working on (except my bee and round robin obligations) to work on his boss's quilt.  Me, being the nice, lovely, obedient *cough, hack, snort* wife that I am agreed.  I don't mind sticking to a project THAT much... okay, yes I do but he really would like to give it to his boss before the end of the year, and he did ask ever so nicely so I will stick with it or die trying.

So far 88 blocks in 2 sections... there are 25 sections to go so this could take a while.  At least the back is done except for the borders.

That is what I have now.....

This is what I started at noon with:

I will still be using the larger checkerboards as an outside border once I get the blocks done and the smaller checkerboards all the way around them I'll do a midnight blue thin border then the larger checkerboards then a wider midnight blue border.

Next update on Wednesday.  Have a Sew/Sew weekend everyone!!

Looks like fun, I would be strip piecing those checker boards for sure!

I agree with Ann marie...strip piecing would be the way to go. And teh sooner you get it done the sooner you can get back to working on the projects that you prefer to do.

It looks like it will be fun getting all those pieces together. Can't wait to see what you do.
