Weekly Progress Report

I've been jumping project to project this week and I got sort of frustrated with multiple things and couldn't really settle but now I've gotten my focus back and I'm ready for next week!  This week though I actually did get a couple of things moved forward.

First up, Step 1 of Bonnie Hunters 2012/13 Mystery "Easy Street" is done!  Woot!  192 and a HALF 2 inch strip 4 patches!  I love the colors she chose but I am using what I have in my stash since I'm on a fabric diet.  Link to the Intro and Part 1 are here if you haven't seen them:  Easy Street  And here is my pic of my progress!

I linked up with Bonnie's Blog for the Monday Progress Linky

Next up is the Star Wars quilt.  I got the top, final border on.  Sorry I didn't lay it out for the picture but I was trying to get everything organized in the sewing area so I would be ready to concentrate on this quilt until the next clue for Easy Street comes on next Friday.  Anyway I think you can get an idea of what the borders will look like from this, I also have the stuff ready to add borders to the back to make it bigger so it will all fit together:

After Star Wars is done I plan to concentrate on these 3 quilts (hopefully one at a time).

Circles:

The second Asian themed quilt that is like Hana's but probably a little bigger and bordered differently.  As you can see this one I haven't really started yet, only a couple of blocks are done.

This one reminds me of a Candy Cane so that's probably it's name.  This one will be a lot like Pink Overload (you can see it on the finishes page) only larger.

Other things in the wings are:

  • the Bee/Round Robin/Swap quilt (still waiting on one of the MMMRR quilt tops to arrive)
  • Red, gray and black Gothic Windows quilt
  • newly arrived Quilt You Be Mine top that I need to add 2 borders to and get into the mail before the end of December.

Tell yourself at least 15 minutes on a quilt, and then you can go 15 minutes to the next one. Before you know it, they will all be done.

The easy street qal sounds fun! I've seen quite a few people working on it. Looks great! Can't wait to see the Star Wars quilt complete.

I'm like you - I have several things in various stages on my sewing table and I think I'm getting a bit confused LOL. I need to do one at a time - yeah right.

I love seeing what everyone has pulled out for the background and their choice for constant! Thank you for sharing yours, Sharyn

you have some fun looking projects lined up there...isn't that half the battle - keeping it organized - and not letting yourself poach fabrics from one UFO to use on another project! Yikes that could spell disaster. Quilt on!
