Not much happened around here yesterday as far as sewing goes.  My shoulder flared and so I was mostly in the chair with either ice or heat on it trying to let it calm down so I could get back to it today.

I got two more circles added to my Drunkard's Path variation:

I'm going to do two more at some point today.  I have also been working on the checkerboards in the Star Wars quilt (and messing around with my photo editing software as you will see....)

No work on either the Jacob's Ladder or the Pineapple Sampler.  I'm still waiting for one of the mini quilt tops to get to me.  Later today I'll likely get the pineapple blocks trimmed down or added to, whichever they need to get them to about 10 inches square so they are all ready for when the other mini top gets here.

I decided this year to do Bonnie Hunter's Mystery quilt but I'm just using whatever I have in my stash so the colors won't be near what she picked.  Hopefully it will turn out okay, but if it doesn't it is going to be a quilt for our bed since we only have one large quilt left that is not starting to fall to bits.  I've made plenty of quilts that will fit the kid's beds and a couple that work as a second quilt on our bed for when it is extra cold but I'm thinking we need at least 2 large quilts for our bed so I can change them out.  Likely the sampler quilt will be a big one as well so that will give me 3 big quilts before winter is over, as long as I can stick with it!

Hey Sami. I've been thinking of making quilts for 'us' too. I really like the checkerboard sashing you are making for the star wars quilt. I've seen everyone getting excited about Bonnie Hunter's new mystery quilt. Her quilts are always so scrappy, which are my favorite kind, so I'll bet you can't go wrong with whatever you have on hand! Can't wait to see what you do!
