Making Progress!

I have 4 full days to finish hubby's quilt.  I haven't got a clue if I can do it but I'm going to give it the "ol' college try" as my Gramma used to say.

Hubby's quilt started out as a QAYG project but when I pulled it all out again I decided I was going to just finish the back and the front and pin baste it and FMQ it.  The middle is QAYG already and let me tell you, adding to this thing with that one part already quilted has been a bear (pun maybe intended as you will see)....

I want it to be at least 80" x 80" and possibly bigger, we'll see.  Here is where I am today:

Back 60.5" x 54.5" so far, this is what I'm working on first, getting it up to at least 82" square.

Front 46.5" x 42.5".  I have several borders planned already.

I think the most time consuming part will be the pieced borders on the front since they are not even cut out yet.  Four days.... can I do it?

It's gonna be a pretty quilt. Interesting to change the whole process during the process. I've started handquilting a quilt that looks so pretty...but you don't know how many times I've thought about snatching that thing off the quilt frame and going to the sewing machine. LOL
