I decided to expand the mini that I got back and make it snuggle sized for a friend of mine but more about that in my next post. Without further ado....
This is my starter block:
Isn't it adoreable??!! I love it!
To see the rest of the minis pop over here to this post on Michele's blog! Quilt U Be Mine
So, I started adding borders to this and what I came up with is actually on my machine being quilted right now. My next post (later this evening) will feature the added borders and the quilted quilt as soon as I get it done. I'm so close to finished. That post will also be a sort of "how to" add borders post. It will explain the way I add borders to keep things from getting all out of whack. If you read my blog you'll remember the wonkadoodle borders on the aqua/orange/black Fanciful Feline quilt that I had to take off and then put back on because of not doing one inner border correctly. The further out I got the more out of whack they got.
Anyway, I have friends that are taking up quilting and I thought a border post would be good since when I started I had the hardest time getting nice flat lying borders.

Love your mini! Can't wait to see it "all grown up"!
Wasn't it fun? I love how yours came out! Can't wait to see the finished projects on all these.
I know I've said this before, but I LOVE the way yours turned out and I can't wait to see how you took it to the next level :) Group 2 rocks!
Love your block - especially all those hearts. How wonderful that you are getting to make three Valentine quilts to give away!
I love the hearts! I am looking forward to your border post. Unfortunately I never measured my borders when I made my first few quilts and some bindings are really wavy. Now I take the time to measure and pin and it comes out perfectly flat!
Pretty little quilt!
Really cute and I totally love the way the hearts both in the center and on the outer edge go in all different directions. I can't wait to see what you've done with it.
Nice finish I'll stop back to see the finished product and your borders tute
