Back, mostly, I hope....

Sorry I've been M.I.A.

I have been reading everyone's blogs as I get time to do it and some of the pretties you are all making are making me very jealous!

Let me explain where I've been briefly and then I'm going to try and get back on track with my crafting and such like.

The last month and a half I haven't really felt like doing much sewing.  Daughter and I both came down with colds and a bit of the flu for a while and hubby got sick.

Hubby never gets sick.

We don't know what was wrong but we spent about a month calling, going to, back and forthing with his doctor, the hospital, my doctor, getting tests, you get the idea.  Now he is feeling better and we still have no clue what was wrong with him.  Weird is putting it mildly.  Some of his symptoms made me watch him carefully for signs of stroke.  He had every kind of test the doctors could think of done and they all came back good.  It was just basically odd and then over the course of a couple of days it went away and now he is fine.

So, life is now back to as normal as it ever is around here, which means not normal at all. Ha,ha!

My plan today is if the sun stays out (which I see black clouds on the horizon so it it doubtful) to go outside and maybe start getting my garden plots dug up so I can get compost mixed in them and get some veggies in the ground by mid May.  If the clouds open up then I plan to mop the kitchen floor and then spend the rest of the day in my sewing area doing bee blocks and possibly adding more borders to hubby's quilt that has been sitting for a month and a half waiting for me to work on it!

Also, our oldest and his wife had the first ultrasound done on April 2nd and she was 8 weeks and 6 days along at that point.  So here is the first picture of our grand-baby!  We and the other set of Grandparents are all so over the moon!  This is going to be the most spoiled child on the face of the planet. :D

What fun, a new grand baby! Woohoo!!!! Grandchildren are for spoiling, and that is all there is to it. Glad you and your hubby are feeling better.
