July Goal Setting

July is here!  Time is flying.

On the 1st the hubby and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary.  It seems like forever and it seems like it hasn't been any time at all.  Does that make sense?  We decided we are going to do something really special next year, we just have to decide what, and how to pay for it.  I'm sure a lot of you know how that goes!

For July my main goal is to get the two quilts that my daughter in law's best friend commissioned done.  I'm making good progress on the first one and I have a plan for the second one.

I'm going to make the Wonky Star quilt my goal quilt for ALYOF.  Here are the center blocks all laid out for it.  Now to get them joined and then turn it into a twin sized quilt.  I'll also have to figure out a way to "label" each block since the center of each block is from a piece of clothing from a memorable event.  I really got creative with the Easter one.  How the heck am I going to quilt it?? LOL!

So there it is!

Things I have to get done in July:
Stash Bee Block for June and July (I'm a bad girl!)
Commissioned quilt top for Monroe
Commissioned quilt top for Reagan

Things I'd like to get done additionally in July:
Monroe's quilt FMQed
Reagan's quilt FMQed
Global Bazaar Dash Quilt top done

This is going to be a sweet quilt. Where did you find the lettering for Monroe? That's a really pretty block!
