WIP Wednesday

I've got the center of the Wonky Star quilt quilted!  I have to make and attach the labels to the back of each block that say what each block's center fabric is made from but I'm making progress!

I had the flu for 4 days and spent 3 of those doing nothing but sleeping and trying not to move very much, but now I'm much better so things are getting accomplished.

I decided to do this quilt as a quilt as you go so I still have to add a row to each end and then add borders to bring it up to twin sized, plus I need to tack down all of the decorative elements that I included from each piece of clothing, but there is progress!

Who decided to do all those itsy bitsy swirls as a fill in the white portions?? Oh yeah.. that was me.  I'm just waiting for someone to get Kona White in stock so I can order more so I can finish this thing.

In the mean time I pulled out the bag with the clothing and the fabric that I ordered for the other quilt, which is going to be a wonky block quilt though I haven't decided exactly how I'll do the blocks.  The fabrics are fabulous pinks/hot pinks.

So those are my two works in progress this fine day.  I'm linking up over and Freshly Pieced.  Linky is my sidebar!

So sorry you've been sick. That is no fun. The quilt looks terrific and I love the swirls.
