I am really enjoying my new job. There is still a lot for me to learn and figure out but I feel like I'm settling in. That said, it is nice to have a long weekend, and then another one in about 3.5 weeks. It is even nicer that they are paid long weekends!
Today I got to sew. I made the block for my BSA partner. She requested 30s repros or pastels. I went and picked up 4 repro fat quarters and made this 12.5 square block for her.
I really like it and am glad I have more of the fabric so when I make my 6 inch churn dash quilt I can use some of it in there. As if I don't already have enough projects.
I still have 3 mini quilts to get made as "cubicle warming" presents for the other girls that went through training with me. I'm going to work on those for the rest of the weekend and hope I can get them done this weekend.
