Fabric In ...

....but I had a good reason! Sure, isn't that what we always say?  Surrounded by mountains of fabric but there was a great sale!

Also, 6 yards are not my fault.  My daughter and Hubby went to town (we are very rural so that is an endeavor) and she sent me pictures from the sale section of the local fabric shop so, completely not my fault!

All in all I added a little over 33 yards since the first of the year, but as you can see from a few previous posts I do have 3 projects in the works right now and the next 3 planned so I should be able to use up some fabric and get out of the red pretty quickly.

I also bought cotton solids to make my spouse some shirts but did not count them in my count since technically they are not for me.  OH!  I think I can take off 4 yards from my count since I'm using some quilting muslin to make the prototype for the shirts I'm making for him and it is in my quilt fabric counts, so that will be nice once the prototype is done to take some fabric out of my quite ridiculous total.

I tried to estimate what I have in yardage total from all of my UFOs and everything on the shelves and in bins and wherever and I am glad I can't estimate because I'm pretty sure it would make me want to never buy fabric again.  No fun in that!  Plus I have to stock up while things are on sale now since after I stop working (whenever we decide that is) I won't be able to buy fabric.

See all the ways I justify my ridiculousness? 😁
